Incident 34/2017 – May 25th Thur. 16.31 – Horton-in Ribblesdale, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

An 82 year old walker requested help due to feeling faint when trying to walk; it was reported that he had fallen earlier and was now about 1/2 mile from Horton-in-Ribblesdale. The team were called to a walker (m,78) suffering a lower leg injury, and unable to make progress on Whernside. Contact with the caller established that the casualty had health conditions which were impacting on his ability to continue walking, and had become very cold.
