Two males were reported to be lost in a broken-down vehicle ‘between Hawes and Ribblehead’ and had been there for eight hours. As the first team members arrived near the Newby Head road junction, they found that the Police had arrived only a minute or two earlier. NYP requested CRO’s assistance after a member of the public found a person at the base of the cove believed to be deceased.
