A female walker slipped and fell descending Pen-y-ghent sustaining a suspected fracture to her right ankle. She was carried by passers-by to within 500m of the road before being met by team members, who were called by North Yorkshire Police. A climber, (male) slipped and fell on the ‘Titter ye not’ pitch at Giggleswick Scar, sustaining a severe injury to his left lower leg as he hit the ground. On arrival, team members escorted the YAS paramedics to the scene, and assisted whilst emergency pain relief was administered. Having dealt with incidents 25 and 26, whilst team members were sorting equipment in the visitor centre car park, the duty controller was approached by 2 walkers seeking advice.
