INCIDENT 24/2019 – Apr. 21st. Sun. 1735hrs – Pot Scar, Feizor, North Yorkshire – Mountain Incident

The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a climber (28, female) who had just descended a pitch, when a rock fell from above causing her to lose balance, and tumble on a scree slope, sustaining a lower leg injury. Team members assisted Yorkshire Air Ambulance personnel, who provided medical care, by securing and splinting the casualty, before transferring her by stretcher down the steep slope to the waiting air ambulance. The casualty was then transported to hospital for treatment.
