A visitor (m, 29) sustained an ankle injury, so that he was unable to put weight on it, near Pecca Falls on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. After splinting his ankle, team members assisted the casualty to a Land Rover, parked nearby. This returned him to the Trail car park for his girlfriend to drive him to hospital, on the way home. A CRO duty controller and two NYFRS officers were working on the risk assessment elements of an emergency plan for the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail when a visitor asked for help. His partner (f, 32) had sustained an ankle injury and was unable to put weight on it. They assisted her to a team vehicle and returned the pair to their own car to seek medical assistance.
