Incident 3/2017 – Jan 2nd Mon. 19.41 – Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue.

Two walkers (m,27 f,25) with a dog, contacted police for guidance when they became disoriented whilst walking off Ingleborough. Although well equipped, they had lost confidence in their navigation in the dark. Incident 99/2016 – Dec. 30th Fri. 15.44 – Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue.

4 walkers (3m, 25, 1f, 14) with 2 dogs became disoriented in mist whilst walking on Ingleborough. The walkers were able to contact the police via mobile roaming, but were unable to give an accurate location.
