A visitor (m, 22) was scrambling along a ledge on Langcliffe Scar, near Winskill Stones, when he slipped and fell about 2m. He landed on both feet but injured both lower legs. A sport cyclist (m, 18) landed badly from a home-made ‘jump’, complaining of rib, face, shoulder and back pain. Arriving at the accident site, the YAS paramedics asked for CRO’s assistance and equipment, in order to immobilise the casualty and recover him to the road ambulance.
