When she had been assessed by the YAS paramedic, team members helped her to the road ambulance which took her to Settle Railway Station for the first train home. An expeditioner (f, 15) slipped on the seriously slippery limestone pavement at the top of Malham Cove, twisting a knee and dislocating the kneecap. A visitor (f, 46) fell near the top of the steps up the side of Malham Cove, sustaining a head injury. YAS requested assistance in moving the patient from the accident site to the air ambulance helicopter.
