A walker (m, 48) was reported to be experiencing chest pains just beyond New Laithe on the path from Malham to Janet’s Foss. CRO members responded, but the first to arrive on scene found that the patient had just been loaded into the YAA air ambulance. A male walker began to suffer chest pain and dizziness whilst ascending Little Ingleborough, beyond Gaping Gill. The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, and a vehicle was immediately dispatched from our base in Clapham, fortunately staffed following a meeting that morning.
