INCIDENT 38/2021 – JUNE 23rd WED. – GAPING GILL, CLAPHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE – CAVE INCIDENT

NYP asked CRO to investigate when two people (m, m) were reported overdue from a trip into Gaping Gill. Their vehicle was found in Clapham, they were not found to be on the walk down, but GG was found to be rigged. Voice contact was established and the full team was called out. INCIDENT 72/2020 – Oct. 23rd Fri 17.36 – Lancaster Hole~Wretched Rabbit, Casterton Fell, Cumbria. Cave Incident

Cumbria Police were contacted by the wife of a caver who was apparently overdue after setting off to do a through trip from Lancaster Hole to Wretched Rabbit. INCIDENT 12/2020 – Feb. 29th. Sat. 19.50hrs – Alum Pot, Selside – Cave Incident

A group of 15 cavers were reported as not having got in touch with their contact by the pre-arranged time of 19.00 hours. The group consisting of one experienced caver, 2 amateurs and 12 first timers had entered the Alum Pot cave system at 11.30, planning only to go as far as the Bridge.
