Prior to an official call from North Yorkshire Police, the Team were alerted by friends of an injured fell runner (M, 51yrs) who had slipped and hurt his ankle. The Team were called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a visitor (M, 25yrs) who had tripped and dislocated his knee on the top of Malham Cove. The team were alerted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to an adult female with a suspected broken ankle. The given What 3 Words (W3W) reference put them in the Airton area. However following initial enquiries by the Duty Controller the incident appeared to actually be on Cross Fell in Cumbria.
