The team were called by NYP to assist with a 17yr old male with an ankle injury close to the summit of Ingleborough. The team were called by YAS to assist with a 65yr old male walker who had slipped between Dean Moor Hill and Coomb Hill in the Malham area. On arrival the team were deployed to the area but the party had made their way to a waiting YAS ambulance. Volunteer hours: 28
Yorkshire Ambulance Service asked the team to assist a walker (m, 74) who had collapsed on the Three Peaks route above High Birkwith. Despite the best efforts of family members, other walkers, team members, and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance crew, the casualty could not be resuscitated. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
