A Three Peaks walker (m, 28) was reported overdue/missing, seven hours after last being seen on Pen y ghent. INCIDENT 67/2021 – AUGUST 26th THUR. 21.32 – INGLEBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A family of six (2 adults & 4 children) had reached the summit of Ingleborough and intended to follow the path to Horton in Ribblesdale to complete their three peaks walk. INCIDENT 54/2021 – JULY 31st SAT. 13.03 – APPROACHING SUMMIT OF WHERNSIDE, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A Three Peaks walker (m) was reported to have dislocated a knee high up on Whernside.  As members were assembling near the Blea Moor aqueduct, the air ambulance was able to land close to the casualty and effect his rescue with assistance only from other walkers already on site.  Team members stood down.
