A dog owner reported to North Yorkshire Police that his dog had fallen down a pot near Gaping Gill. A call was received from North Yorkshire Police to two 3 Peaks walkers (m, 23, 18) who had become lost in darkness, and found themselves above Horton Quarry, and felt unable to safely proceed or retrace their steps.
