Two people lost the path descending Ingleborough in darkness. Another party of walkers were passing and helped them to locate the correct descent path to the Hill Inn. Progress was monitored using the phonefind utlity until they were off the hill safely. Volunteer hrs: 2

On Thursday evening, North Yorkshire Police requested the team to prepare to conduct a daylight search of North Ribblesdale for a missing walker (m, 77), whilst they continued their own inquiries overnight. Team leaders then spent the evening planning a search pattern ready to commence on Friday morning. A walker (m 64) slipped on wet rock whilst getting a drink from Fell Beck near to Gaping Gill on Ingleborough. He fell into the water and was reported to have hit his head on rocks. INCIDENT 80/2019 – Sep 18th. Wed. 07.18hrs – Pen-y-ghent, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue
CRO were called to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) and Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) with a casualty (m 67) reported to be unconscious having sustained a head injury during a significant fall on rock bands near to the summit of Pen-y-ghent.
