INCIDENT 81/2019 – Sep 18th. Wed. 16.50hrs – Fell Beck, Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A walker (m 64) slipped on wet rock whilst getting a drink from Fell Beck near to Gaping Gill on Ingleborough. He fell into the water and was reported to have hit his head on rocks. His companions helped to get him out of the beck and called for help. The injured walker was attended to by Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) and Yorkshire Ambulance Service paramedics before being carried a short distance by CRO to the YAA. He was then flown to hospital while CRO brought his companions down to Clapham village.
