The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a walker (m, 80) who had fallen whilst walking around Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and had a reported head injury.
One of the Duty Controllers who was in the area was able to quickly locate the casualty, who had started to make his own way back to the village but was starting to feel a bit worse. After an initial assessment they were joined by paramedics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service, who had been guided to the scene by other team members. Once the YAS Paramedics had completed their checks on the casualty he was packaged on a stretcher and transported back to the waiting ambulance for transport to hospital.
We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
