The team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police to a walker (M, 60) who was suffering a medical episode on Pen y Ghent, close to the summit. The team were alerted and mobilised. Meanwhile, the walker was contacted by our Duty Controller and it was found that he had recovered sufficiently to start making his own way down, assisted by a friend. Team members met him on the path above Brackenbottom. He was assessed by our medical technicians and then driven back down to the road in our ATV. Once assessed by the team doctor, we drove him back to his car in Horton.
Whilst we were returning to the depot we were given a second callout………………….
