INCIDENT 88/2019 – Oct. 22nd. Tue. 17.51hrs – Barbon Low Fell, Barbon, Cumbria – Mountain Incident

NWAS asked for assistance in finding someone (f, 62) believed to be at risk, having walked on to Barbon Low Fell. The missing person was found very easily, assessed by a paramedic team member, then accompanied down to the road-head. She was kept warm until she could be handed over to NWAS paramedics and the team stood down Volunteer hours  43  

Incident 48/2018 – Aug. 4th Sat 12.02 Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A visitor (m, 32) sustained a fracture to the shoulder, after taking a fall between Manor Bridge and Pecca Falls, on the Waterfalls Trail. Team members immobilised the shoulder, then supported him on the walk down to the main Trail car park. He was assisted into a team vehicle and taken to a North West Ambulance Service road ambulance for the journey to hospital. Volunteer hours: 14  

Incident 38/2018 – Jun. 9th Sat 18.38 Thornton Force, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

Whilst attending to incident 37, CRO was called to an incident at Thornton Force, near Ingleton. A boy, aged 11, had slipped whilst entering the pool at the foot of Thornton Force and hit his head on a submerged rock.
