A Three Peaks walker (m, 45?) rang an acquaintance in Horton, to say that he had taken a fall while descending from Ingleborough and was bleeding significantly from a head-wound. A climber (m, 55) suffered a medical event, fell from the crux of his climb and was left suspended, semi-conscious, in his harness. A walker (m, 40) slipped on ice and heard a snap from his right ankle, just below the summit of Pen y ghent, on the path towards Hull Pot. A mountain biker (m, 60) hit a patch of ice while descending towards Helwith Bridge on an evening ride. He was catapulted from his cycle and dislocated a shoulder. Team members administered analgesics and immobilised the injury, before helping him into a team vehicle and driving him to meet a YAS road ambulance, down at the road-head.
