A lone walker (f 25) reported herself lost and benighted whilst descending from the summit of Ingleborough. Incident 24/2017 – Apr. 23rd Sun. 10.34 – Whernside, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue.
CRO were called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to locate and provide assistance to a 79 year old walker who was in difficulty near to the summit of Whernside. CRO members located and attended to the casualty, who had apparently fallen as a result of a trip and was unable to continue his walk.
