INCIDENT 62/2020 – Sep. 5th Sat. 20.55hrs – Southerscales Fell, Ingleborough – Mountain Incident

Two Three Peaks walkers (f, 36; f, 47) became detached from their five companions after climbing the temporary path diversion towards Ingleborough. They were reported as lost and with limited lighting. Having ascertained their position, using PhoneFind, the duty controller advised them to descend along a wall-side and sent two team members up to meet them. INCIDENT 95/2019 – Nov. 12th. Tue. 17.45hrs – Ingleborough – Mountain Incident

A lone Three Peaks walker (m, 30) reported himself lost on Ingleborough, but otherwise unharmed. Before calling the CRO Duty Controller, North Yorkshire Police were able to establish that the misper was on Simon Fell Breast, a little way below the footpath to Horton in Ribblesdale. INCIDENT 90/2019 – Oct. 30th. Wed. 18.27hrs – Near Gaping Gill – Mountain Incident

Two Three Peaks walkers (m,57; m,53 ) became lost and benighted at Gaping Gill (the sign said so). They phoned home and a family member phoned NYP. A team Land Rover was driven to the bottom of Trow Gill and two members jogged up to GG, collected the mispers, then guided them back to the vehicle.
