INCIDENT 44/2021 – JULY 5th MON. 14.11 – Nr SNOW FALLS, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A visitor (f, 63) felt unwell, dizzy and possibly dehydrated, soon after passing Snow Falls on the return leg of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. Her husband phoned for an ambulance and YAS alerted the CRO Duty Controller. When he spoke to the husband, he was told that the patient had been able to stand and would set off again, to walk gently towards Ingleton. A small team went to investigate and assist, if necessary, reaching the patient at the same time as the YAS paramedics. After being assessed by them, she was assisted, very slowly, to the road ambulance at the top of Thacking Lane. CRO members stood down.
