The Team had only just stood down from the previous incident when we were alerted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with an incident at Malham Cove. A visitor (M, 67) had apparently suffered a medical problem whilst climbing the steps up to the top of the cove. Team members were despatched to the scene, which was very busy. On arrival, one of our Duty Controllers found the gentleman who had recovered to some extent. Following radio discussions with paramedics, the man was escorted back down the steps by our member and handed over to the care of the paramedics from YAS. Other Team members who had been waiting nearby in the village were stood down. However……….
