A walker (f, 74) fell on the rough surface near the top of Long Lane, Clapham, experiencing significant pain when she tried to stand. Having had both hips replaced in the past, there was concern about possible injury/damage. CRO members administered pain relief then assisted her into a team Land Rover for the journey down to Clapham, where a YAS road ambulance waited to take her to hospital for a check-up.
