Yorkshire Ambulance Service received a report of someone having ‘fallen approximately 100ft,’ at Malham Cove. Having dispatched a road ambulance, rapid response vehicle and air ambulance, they also called out CRO. Ambulance personnel determined that life was extinct and departed. Called by North Yorkshire Police and the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a parapentist who had lost control of his paraglider and hit the fell side.
