A walker (m,86) with several medical conditions and a history of back trouble was unable to complete the walk because of the pain. Having administered pain relief, team members carried the patient from just below Snow Falls up to Falls Park, at Beezleys, to await the arrival of a road ambulance for the journey to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. A family visiting the waterfalls walk reported themselves lost in woodland. The CRO Duty Controller was able to contact the family on their mobile phone and established that they had found their way to Ingleton and were being directed to the waterfalls car park by a passerby. Volunteer hours: 0.5

Two walkers became separated from a larger group on the last leg of the Three Peaks Walk, heading from Ingleborough to Horton in Ribblesdale. With no map and only a page and a half of typescript describing the whole route, they descended, mistakenly, via Little Ingleborough and past Gaping Gill.
