North Yorkshire Police asked the team to assist two walkers (m,20s) who were stuck on the steep and rocky south shoulder of Pen-y-ghent. Two other members of their party (m,f,20s) had gone up to assist them, but the group was unable to move due to high winds and poor visibility. Team members, struggling to stay on their feet in the wind, located the group at the edge of the summit plateau. The casualties, cold despite being well-equipped, were walked over the summit and down the Hull Pot track to a CRO vehicle.
