Incident 29/2018 – May 27th Sun 14.23 Waterfalls Trail, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A female walker fell approximately 20 feet down stone steps near Pecca Falls, losing consciousness for a short while. The team were tasked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist, and located the casualty not far from our rendezvous point. Incident 17/2018 – Apr. 18th Wed. 13.24 Nr Pecca Falls, Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A walker (f, 82) was reported to have fainted near Pecca Falls on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail.  CRO members arrived, to find YAS paramedics already on scene. The patient, who was fully conscious, was put into a casualty bag on a lightweight stretcher, then carried to a team vehicle, just above ‘Tom’s Cabin’. She was then driven to the road-head and transferred to a YAS road ambulance.  Volunteer hours: 24  

Incident 11/2018 – Mar. 13th Tue. 12.14 Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

Yorkshire Ambulance Service asked for CRO’s assistance in reaching and rescuing a walker (m, 82), said to be collapsed and confused at Manor Bridge, on the western arm of the Waterfalls Trail. Incident 9/2018 – Mar. 10th Sat. 12.51 Pecca Falls, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A visitor (f, 71) was reported to have collapsed near Pecca Falls on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and to be sitting by Tom’s Cabin (refreshment kiosk). When team members arrived, she was not there and passers-by, when asked, had not seen anyone fitting the given description. A team member ran down the path, finding that the ‘patient’ had recovered from her apparent faint and continued walking down towards the car…
