CRO were called to help search for a vulnerable missing person who had last been seen at 18.55 the previous day. When CRO arrived at Ribblehead we discovered that the missing person had just approached two police officers and was in their care. A paramedic volunteering for CRO checked the persons medical condition and continued to monitor him until the arrival of Yorkshire Ambulance Service. Volunteer hours: 34
A walker (m, 74) was reported overdue from a walk beginning at about 09.00 on Monday. NYP found his car in Kettlewell and after carrying out its own enquiries continuedd searching and called out UWFRA at 02.57 on Tuesday. A man (59) was reported to be ‘at risk’, having been missing from home near Pickering since early evening on Monday. Scarborough and Ryedale MRT searched for him through Tuesday night, supported by Cleveland MRT and RAF Leeming MRT. A family walking the Three Peaks split up, unintentionally, when the parents were too slow for their son (15) coming off Whernside.
