Incident 6/2018 – Feb. 17th Sat. 15.00 Trow Gill, Clapham, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue
Having stepped off the path while walking down through Trow Gill, a walker (f, 46) slipped on wet grass, sustaining a suspected lower leg fracture. Incident 91/2017 – Dec. 27th Wed. 15.10 Humphrey Bottom, Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue
A walker (m 38) slipped on ice and injured his right ankle whilst descending from Ingleborough summit. CRO were able to pinpoint the exact location of the incident by sending a text message, enabling the informant at the scene to share their mobile phone location with our computer based mapping system.
