CRO team members braved darkness and dense fog, in wet and very windy conditions, when they sought to locate and assist a 3-peaks walker (m 33), who had reported himself lost on Ingleborough. Incident 11/2016 – Mar. 12th Sat. 12:15 – Crina track, Ingleborough – Mountain Rescue
The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to a report of a walker (f,20) collapsed and becoming hypothermic, approaching Ingleborough summit. On reaching the casualty, two of the team’s casualty carers administered first aid and began warming the casualty, whilst other team members prepared for a stretcher carry.
