INCIDENT 9/2024. March 10th SUN 1315. INGLEBOROUGH, CLAPHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a walker (F, 40) who had slipped whilst descending Little Ingleborough. The casualty had sustained a painful lower leg injury and was unable to continue her walk down. The Team’s Honda Pioneer ATV vehicle was despatched and managed to get close to the injured lady’s party. Following immediate treatment on scene other Team members walked up from Trow Gill with a stretcher and the lady was carried back down to a waiting Team vehicle. She was transported to the Team Depot at Clapham where she was able to travel home and to hospital with her family. We wish her a speedy recovery.
