INCIDENT 68/2021 – AUGUST 28th SAT. 14.58 – WATERFALLS WALK, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A young person (f 13) twisted her ankle whilst on a day out on the waterfalls walk with her family. The family tried to carry on walking, but called for help when the young person appeared to faint a couple of times. A CRO doctor and team members located the family near to the tea shed, just to the south of Thornton Force. The injured girl was cared for by the CRO team doctor and carried a short way by stretcher to a CRO Landrover. After a short drive across fields, the young person was checked by Yorkshire Ambulance paramedics and released into the care of her family.
