The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a walker (m, 61) who had become faint and dizzy on the path up to the top of Malham Cove and was unable to continue. After an assessment by team medics the casualty was assisted onto a Bell stretcher and sledged down to the foot of the cove and our waiting Landrover, CRO 3. He was then driven to Malham where he was transferred into the care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service for transport to hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery.
