Three Three Peaks walkers (all m, 23) said they were lost in the dark, with one of their party struggling to walk, coming off Ingleborough. They said they thought they were about a mile from Horton. The team’s PhoneFind app put them in exactly the same location as in incident no 8, so while other members headed for Horton as a precaution, two local members walked up from Beecroft, found the mispers, escorted them down to a member’s car and drove them to their own car, parked in Horton. Although they had torches, none had a map.
