Two walkers (m, 25; f, 25) reported themselves lost and benighted on the summit plateau of Ingleborough. Having confirmed that they were at the summit shelter, the Duty Controller asked them to stay where they were and to keep as warm as possible. Team members drove from Storrs Common to Crina Bottom then continued on foot with the necessary equipment (lights, heated waistcoat etc) and escorted the mispers down to Crina Bottom before driving them back to their car, parked in Clapham.
