Two cavers were reported to be ‘trapped’, two hours after entering Roaring Hole, near Southerscales, Ingleton. Ten minutes later they were reported to be on the surface and walking back down to Chapel le Dale, so no further action was required. Volunteer hours: 0.2

A mountain biker (m, 60) hit a patch of ice while descending towards Helwith Bridge on an evening ride. He was catapulted from his cycle and dislocated a shoulder. Team members administered analgesics and immobilised the injury, before helping him into a team vehicle and driving him to meet a YAS road ambulance, down at the road-head.
