A visitor (f, 37) slipped on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail near Beezley Falls, sustaining a serious ankle injury. The team was put on stand-by, but when the Duty Controller telephoned the reporting person, he was told that several other visitors were helping walk/carry the injured person back to the Falls Park cafe. As this would be accessible to a YAS vehicle, the Duty Controller advised North Yorkshire Police that the team was standing down. A flight radar track then showed that an air ambulance was continuing towards the location.
