incident 71/2026. October 30th Friday 13:45hrs. Malham Cove, Malham, North Yorkshire

The team were alerted by our colleagues at Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a walker (F, 63) who had fallen on the limestone pavement on the top of Malham Cove, causing a head injury. One of our Controllers met with the ambulance crew and they were quickly with the casualty. Other members and vehicles were despatched to the scene. Thankfully, the casualty was able to walk, with assistance, to one of our team vehicles which was able to get close to the scene. She was then taken to the nearby ambulance and transferred to the care of the YAS paramedics. We wish her a speedy recovery.
