A climber, (male) slipped and fell on the ‘Titter ye not’ pitch at Giggleswick Scar, sustaining a severe injury to his left lower leg as he hit the ground. The team were requested by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to attend a report of a person (f, 37) ‘fallen from a wall, 200m from Settle Golf Club’. Because of an ongoing incident, a reduced team responded from Horton in Ribblesdale to provide assistance to the ambulance service. A climber (m 61) was being lowered from the top of a climb by his belayer when a very large piece of rock became detached from the crag above him.
