INCIDENT 88/2025. OCTOBER 31st FRI. 1201hrs. CRINA BOTTOM, INGLEBOROUGH, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The Team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police to a walker (F, 23yrs) who had fallen whilst descending from Ingleborough. She had sustained a painful ankle injury and was unable to continue unaided. As the Team responded, other passing walkers helped the walker down to nearby Crina Bottom farm where the owner very kindly offered assistance whilst waiting our arrival. On our arrival the walker was assessed, treated, and given pain relief prior to being transported in our team vehicle back to our base in Clapham, where she was met by Yorkshire Ambulance paramedics, and taken to hospital for further treatment. We wish her a speedy recovery.
