A call was received from North Yorkshire Police to a report of a walker (f) who had sustained a lower leg injury. Although with 3 companions, and able to walk slowly with assistance, they requested help due to the distance back to their vehicle, and the weather conditions which had left the party cold and wet (heavy rain showers and a cold gusty wind). Team members responded to a rendezvous point near Ribblehead, and whilst a vehicle with team members aboard made it’s way towards Force Gill aqueduct by the access track, another team member headed directly on foot to locate the casualty and party, who were found making there way slowly along the track towards Blea Moor signal box. The party were put into the team vehicle, and conveyed back to their own vehicle at Ribblehead.
