INCIDENT 48/2021 – JULY 17th SAT. 16.47 – INGLEBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

An 18 year old male taking part in a three peaks walk charity event was reported to have severe muscle cramps and heat exhaustion and was unable to walk further. CRO team members located the walker at Humphrey Bottom on the three peaks route up Ingleborough from Chapel-le-Dale. The poorly walker was in the company of an event marshal. As the ground was so dry, CRO team members were able to drive all the way to the scene in our 4×4 off-road buggy. The walker was assessed by team members and then transported in the buggy back to the roadside in Chapel-le-Dale. He was left in the care of the event marshal and other staff.
