Our Duty Controller was alerted by one of our members to a potential overdue caver in Cow Pot on Leck Fell. A number of cavers from nearby Bull Pot Farm (Red Rose caving club HQ) had gone out to try and locate the missing caver. We were then alerted by Cumbria Police to the same incident. One of our controllers went to Bull Pot Farm to investigate, and the team were put on stand-by. The missing caver was quickly located by his friends and helped back to the surface, safe and well. The team were stood down and everyone could safely go to bed.
