The team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police (NYP) to a volunteer member of a working party (M, 65) who was on Pen y Ghent, one of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, repairing the pathway. The man had been taken ill and was not capable of walking off the hill. Whilst other team members were alerted and deployed to a nearby location, we were actually able to drive our Honda Pioneer ATV to his location on the path. He was assessed and driven off the hill to his vehicle at nearby Brackenbottom. We wish him a speedy recovery.
