The team was alerted by North Yorkshire Police of a fell runner (F, 43) taking part in a challenge event who had collapsed whilst descending Ingleborough. A small team were able to drive directly to the runner using the Honda Pioneer (CRO 4) and provide immediate care with the assistance of the event first aiders who were already on scene. As more team members arrived she was placed into a casualty bag and stretcher with a wheel attachment. The stretcher team then quickly brought her down the mountain to the awaiting CRO 3 Land rover. This then drove her down into Crummack Dale and transferred to the waiting YAS Paramedics.
