The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to a member of a D of E party (f,17) trapped in a bog and sinking, on ‘Whernside, east of Deepdale’. CRO teams searched the area around their last known location, but had difficulty locating them due to poor visibility. Whilst returning from the incident at Ribblehead, one of our vehicles came across a road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist. Team members provided initial first aid and called the Police and Ambulance Service. Once the ambulance servcie attended, team members handed over to them, and returned to base. Volunteer hours: 3
