The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a 3 peaks walker who had apparently suffered a seizure and unconsciousness whilst ascending Pen-y-ghent. The team responded, and assisted Yorkshire Air Ambulance staff to get the casualty into Helimed 99. The patient was then transferred to a road ambulance at Dale Head. The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a walker (m,62) with an ankle injury. When the first team member arrived on scene, it was discovered that the walker had been found by a local farmer, and given a lift back to his own car in Horton, from where he was going to make his own way to hospital for treatment. Incident 67/2016 – Aug. 26th Fri. 22.54 – Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue.
Four adult walkers (m) reported themselves lost on the descent from Ingleborough attempting to reach Horton in Ribblesdale. Whilst speaking to them, their mobile phone ran out of battery, before their exact location could be ascertained.
