North Yorkshire County Council asked for availability of all North Yorkshire teams to provide a crewed vehicle for county wide response, if required, during the anticipated heavy snow. Following a teleconference, it was decided that the county was not as severely hit as anticipated, and any requests for assistance from teams would continue to be via the normal callout procedures.

The area covered by CRO appeared to be less severely hit by heavy snow than many surrounding areas, and no calls were received for assistance by the team due to the weather.
